  • Abstract
    The paper presents the design of limited-angle direct current (DC) torque motor with a new type of an active element. Given the operation principle of proposed motor; its force characteristics are then computationally found and well tuned using the finite element method (FEM); a four-pole limited-angle DC torque motor is proposed in order to apply a new type of an active tape element. Experimental results of designed prototype of proposed motor are conducted to show the operability of the proposed conception.
