Abstract
In this paper, a novel cyclic constellation mapping method (CCM) is proposed to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. By properly choosing the move parameter, this method can obtain a considerable PAPR performance. Moreover, in order to demodulate the signal correctly at the receiver side, a pilot-aided estimation method is also introduced. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves a better PAPR and bit-error rate (BER) performance than the conventional partial transmit sequences (PTS) while maintaining low computational complexity.
