Abstract :
A bi-mobility multi-homing access to peer-to-peer federation mobile cloud architecture(bMmHAPFA) is proposed for wide area network aiming at the deficiencies of oversimplification, unclear function layer definition and poor support for mobile service in existing mobile cloud architectures. We present a function layer model for bMmHAPFA and illustrate its main function components. With NCTUns emulator which used to simulate wireless network environment, and the virtualization tool XEN which used to construct physical cloud platform, a prototype of bMmHAPFA is built. Tests of price negotiation, roaming among heterogeneous wireless networks and service migration are carried out in this prototype. The experimental results show:(1) the PAEG negotiation approach we advanced obeys market principles of supply and demand, and its fast iterative convergence and low computation complexity make it suitable for large-scale price negotiation;(2) wireless access mode has a great impact on service scheduling throughput and among various of heterogeneous wireless networks, such as DVB, WiFi, GPRS and WiMAX, WiMAX is superior to others for wireless access;(3)inter-cloud scheduling supported by service migration achieves load balance for federation cloud.
