Abstract :
The Brazilian System for Advanced Metering (SiBMA) is a solution that defines an application layer protocol designed to meet the needs of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure for the energy market in Brazil. This paper presents the proposed solution from an architectural standpoint. A reference implementation was developed with the goal to validate the proposed protocol that is intended to be a national standard candidate.
