Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the neurophysiological correlates of sustained thermal pain. Spectral changes in the EEG were quantified and correlated with the stimulation status. A reduced synchrony in mu band (8-13 Hz) was found in the contralateral side of the sensorimotor region.
