  • Abstract
Finite element model of overhead contact wire with simple catenary suspension and nonlinear model of pantograph lumped mass were established separately in this paper, these two were bonded through the contact element, and thus Pantograph-Catenary dynamic system was obtained. Based on the dynamic equation of analytic system, Houbolt numerical integration method was adopted to analyze contact characteristics of the system. Aimed at system with simple catenary suspension under single pantograph effect, influence of contact wire tension, structure height and span length on contact force of pantograph-catenary under different running speeds was discussed. Through analysis, the universal law of contact wire design parameters on contact characteristics of pantograph contact wire under different speeds was obtained.
