Abstract :
A new tuning method using a ferrite loaded cavity resonator is applied for dynamic measurement of complex permittivity and permeability of testing material. The resonant frequency of the cavity can be changed by the DC current applied to the electromagnet setting outside which load the magnetic field on the ferrite disk in the cavity. The characteristics of the cavity are shown with the measurement result of temperature dependent complex permittivity and permeability of material under microwave processing.
