Abstract :
A study of hydrogen diffusion behavior in the PVA hydrogel had been done to measure diffusion coefficient (ADC) from tissue mimicking. For our study, PVA hydrogel samples were prepared using freezing-thawing method with various concentration and number of freezing-thawing cycles. Consistency measurement with physical mechanism had been done to the samples by digital penetrometer. We measured ADC value of the hydrogel PVA with Diffusion Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging 1.5 T in the way we measured ADC value of the abnormal tissue from several cases of human Brain Tumor. With high correlation of the consistency data and ADC value, we can assess the human Brain Tumor consistency.
