Abstract :
The capability of harmonic compensation gains more importance in future grids. As local density of installed distributed power generator systems is increasing, the examination of the control behavior of parallel operating inverters is crucial. In this paper the performance of different, commonly discussed harmonic compensation algorithms for parallel acting inverters in an isolated microgrid is investigated and compared. Similar and different harmonic compensation algorithms in each autonomously controlled inverter are evaluated. Dynamic and stationary performances are considered based on different scenarios for harmonic compensation.
