  • Abstract
This paper proposes the design, stability analysis and stabilization methods of current-based MRAS for sensorless vector control of induction motor. For industrial applications, the speed adaptation algorithm has to be stable in wide speed range, in both motoring and regenerating mode of operation. Design of adaptation controller based on linearized model of the observer is included. Theoretical analysis of the stability and two main stabilization methods for stable operation in regenerating mode are described. Finally, experimental results are shown.
