Abstract :
A way to simulate circuits associated with power electronics and perform HIL (Hardware In the Loop) controller testing by the simulation using a real time digital simulator is described in this paper. The benefit of using a real time simulation environment for such testing is explained. The demonstration of HIL capability of the real time simulation with an external controller is illustrated in this paper as well. The simulation results as well as certain observations such as time delay between simulation and external controller are also discussed.
