Abstract :
The large number of high power conversion applications has brought to the development of complex power converter configurations constituted of the connection of two-level modules. Modulation strategies based on master-slave approach take advantage of the modularity of these power converter topologies. The present paper proposes an improved master-slave control strategy where the choice of which module has to be switched is demanded to a separate predictive slave routine. Simulation tests validate the proposed control strategy.
