  • Abstract
Communication system engineering is one of the important parts within the engineering of industrial control systems. Up to now, this task is distributed across different engineering disciplines resulting in problems within engineering, implementation and commissioning of these communication systems. To overcome this problem basically a modeling methodology is required enabling the consistent representation of all relevant information. Such a model will be presented in this paper.
