Abstract :
This paper is the Guest Editors´ Foreword to the seventh edition of the IEEE International Symposium on Medical Measurements and Applications (MeMeA 2012) held on May 18-19, 2012, in the capital of Hungary-Budapest. The goal of MeMeA 2012 has been to highlight the importance of measurement methods and instrumentation in medical applications by presenting novel solutions to health care challenges and, moreover, to encourage broad discussion about methodologies and results, and exchange of experience among attendees.
