Abstract
Technology enhanced learning, otherwise also known as e-learning, has been adopted by numerous education institutions in Tanzania with the aim to solve numerous educational challenges within their academic environments such as limited learning spaces, inadequate learning materials and resources, insufficient availability of staff members, to enhance the teaching and learning process and improve the quality of education as a result of increased admission. With the numerous massive investments in technology for education, many institutions are not getting value for money. This study therefore evaluates reports on the factors that hinder the use of these new technologies for education and educational administration, communication, and research.
