Abstract :
BeiDou satellite navigation provides the RDSS two-way timing and RNSS timing. In this paper, the basic principles of these two timing methods are illustrated, and the factors which affect the precision for the two methods are analyzed. Compared with the wildly used RNSS timing method, the RDSS timing method can only be used by a limited number of users, due to the limited capacity of the RDSS system, and it cannot meet the requirements of high dynamic users. However, the experimental results indicate that the RDSS two-way timing method provides higher precision than RNSS timing method.
