Abstract :
This paper presents the digital implementation of a current controller of a Voltage Source Converter (VSC). Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) modulation technique is employed to control the converter output current. Such control is performed through MATLAB/SIMULINK, which interacts with a digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320C2800. The design of the control algorithm and the laboratory implementation of the control system are described. The article includes experimental results of the current control behavior when the system has changes in the reference signal, voltage and load.
