  • Abstract
    Automotive materials and parts purchasing quality management is an important issue in both quality management and purchasing management. This paper firstly discusses three purchasing quality conceptions and under these conceptions the different purchasing decision-making patterns; secondly, studies how the total quality management principles are applied within automotive accessory purchasing and supply quality management; and finally, considers four development levels of automotive component purchasing quality management system. The discussions and results in current study exhibit some innovative thoughts which will be useful to clear up the misunderstandings and ambiguities in these fields.
