Research on OD distribution of domestic coastal trade container shipping based on gravity model

Chinese port industry has entered a rapid development period along with sustained economic growth. Although domestic coastal container liner shipping was opened up late in our country, it has experienced significant improvement over the past years and keeps a top developing speed. Domestic coastal trade container shipping between five port clusters was influenced by several impedance factors, which would be quantified under practical condition. Finally, OD distribution of domestic coastal trade container shipping on theory will be calculated through the calibrated gravity model, which is benefit for domestic coastal trade container liner market to make capacity layout or later theoretical research.
