  • Abstract
The business environment is becoming increasingly dynamic, complex and unpredictable environment, where technology, globalization, knowledge and changing competitive approaches impact on the performance of organization. Technological innovation (TI) is increasingly recognized as the key underpinning resource. Organizational culture (OC) has been recognized as an important determinant within TI and this relationship needs to be better understood. Based on the former researches, this paper describes the characteristics of different kinds of TI and OC and therefore puts forward 6 propositions which suggest theoretically that different OC has different influence on different TI. These propositions help us understand the conditions, functions and interaction of OC in the process of TI in a better way, and give some guidance for the successful implementation of TI.
