Abstract :
Property restriction order that is caused by the rapid rise in housing prices in some cities of China and developed by the government, is a series of measures to restrict commercial house transaction, control house prices and protect rigid housing demand. There is no clear economic standard to determine the city when to implement the property restriction order since two years and more. This paper use Fisher discriminant analysis method to research whether some city should implement the property restriction order, and came to some conclusions. According to discriminant analysis model, we can build housing purchase limit standards. For any one city, just put all the following indicators into the model, it can determine whether the city should be restricted.
