Abstract
This study aims to assess the relationship between clinical nurses´ perceived social support and multiple happiness. The data was collected from 192 full time clinical nurses who worked at a hospital in China. Results indicate that: (1) Clinical nurses´ perceived social support was a significant predictor of multiple happiness; (2) Three dimensions of clinical nurses´ perceived social support positively were significant predictors of multiple happiness; (3) family support can´t predicted friendly relations and altruism behavior, besides, all dimensions of multiple happiness can be significantly predicted by family, friends and other support. These results provide a theoretical basis for hospital management to develop intervention strategies for improving staff´s physical and mental health.
