  • Abstract
The high-speed railway tunnel project is with some characters such as large excavation cross-section, high standard waterproof, long service life, which demands higher requirements for construction safety. Safety systems engineering (SSE) applied to the tunnel construction may provide guarantee for system security. Control mode like from design, construction, observation of surrounding rock to dynamic correction design and construction based on feedback is established in the construction of tunnel. SSE utilizes a series of measures to ensure system security, which includes safety design, safety warning, safety production and safety training. In the construction of high-speed railway tunnel, the whole process composed of establishing safety management system, doing well in process management and controlling on the points of safety management with high quality may ensure the system safety. The above-mentioned process is decomposed detailed in the paper as follows: by setting up safety organization, rules and regulations, developing goals and measures, training and standardized constructing to improve the system establishment, by inspecting, examining and re-correcting hazards to implement process management, by carrying out geological advanced prediction, measurement, excavation and support to realize control points. The system safety of tunnel instruction may be ensured by systematic investigating and node controlling.
