Abstract :
Implementation of the integration of urban and rural education is an important part of the strategy to promote urban-rural integration. This article selects 16 representative indexes from four aspects including education scale, input of funds, infrastructure construction and faculty. Using the method of principal component analysis, we carry out a quantitative evaluation and analysis on the integration process of urban and rural education of Hengshui. Through the result analysis, we find the gap between urban and rural areas has been widening which is the overall trend of the integration of urban and rural education of Hengshui since 2000. Only in 2003–2004 and 2008–2010, the level of integration of urban and rural education had been strengthened. The unbalanced development of urban and rural infrastructure construction and faculty has seriously hindered the advancement of the integration process of urban and rural education of Hengshui.
