Abstract
NPD (new product development) plays an important role in obtaining the competitive advantage for firms in the rapid changing environment. The influence of organization improvisation on NPD is analyzed, including the moderating role of absorptive capacity between them. Empirical evidence is gotten from the investigation on employees from fifty-four technologic SMEs (small-and-medium-sized enterprises). The result shows that organization improvisation and NPD is significant positively correlated, meanwhile absorptive capacity plays a significant moderating role between them.
