Abstract
Based on study of power control algorithms for centralized WLAN (wireless local area network) architecture, a dynamic transmit power control scheme was proposed, which comprehensively considers the reverse neighbor number and the reverse received power. The results of NS2 simulation indicate that the TPC algorithm is simple and effective for automatically adjusting the WLAN RF power.
