Abstract
China and France both have long histories and share some similarities in their development. But different economic, political and cultural backgrounds between the two countries lead to differences in the management system, the developing speed and the operational models of their professional sports. Broad and mass participation population provides sufficient sources for French professional sports; while the rapid-growth and professional achievements push the development of Chinese mass sports. The two countries have the necessity to learn from each other. Therefore, this paper makes a comparative research on the organization structure, the relative laws and regulations, the program characteristics, and the financial situation of professional sports between France and China, and puts forward the corresponding suggestions for their further developments.
