The analysis of the institutional barriers in the cluster developments of the equipment manufacturing industry

The organizational attribute of industrial clusters was an intermediate economical organization among the market and enterprises, and was a multiplex system arrangement. The observations of a large amount of practices demonstrated that, the institutional barrier already becomes the critical factor for impeding the cluster development of equipment manufacturing industry in China. Based on the research findings of industrial cluster development from worldwide, considered the extrinsic characteristic in the institutional barrier of industrial cluster development as main objective, the theory of path dependence was used to analysis the causes of institutional barrier. Finally, the alternative for solving institutional barrier was proposed through the way being institutional innovation.
