Abstract :
The domains of work and family are of great importance to most individuals. With limited time and energy, there is the potential for activities within these two domains resulting in work family conflict. Data from 287 respondents were collected, including information on work family conflict, organizational support, and job satisfaction. The results suggest that two direction of work family conflict: work interference with family (WIF) and family interference with work (FIW) negatively affect the level of job satisfaction; organizational support does indeed affect job satisfaction. In addition, organizational support does moderate the relationship between work family conflict and job satisfaction. In the human resources management practice, managers should give employees more support to reducing the negative influent ion of work-family conflict. This electronic document is a “live” template.
