Abstract :
In this paper, a platform design of un manned photovoltaic electric vehicle is proposed. Th e fusion of the high technology of vehicle can lead a new transportation. An electric vehicle can solve the problem o f the global warning by suppressing the greenhouse gases. The solar energy can replace the fossil fuel, because the generated electric energy by solar can be the energy of the electric vehicle. Also, an unmanned vehicle is a future transportation to solve traffi c problems. Thus, we suggest a fusion system o f solar energy and unmanned driving technology. To develop the unmanned driving system, the several sensors including GPS, digital compass, laser range finder, steering angle sensor and encoders are used. The designed mechanism, the specification of the vehicle, the design of drive by wire, and the integrated system are discussed.
