Abstract :
This paper presents a new phase unwrapping algorithm for SAR interferometry with calculation cost almost independent of the density of SP. This method generates no spikes in high SP density areas and no long clifflike artifacts even for isolated singular points (SPs) since we spread the singularity at SPs around to make the closely located positive and negative SPs combine gently with each other or make the isolated SPs fade away. Results demonstrate higher accuracy and lower calculation cost than conventional SSPU method.
