Abstract :
We discuss an efficient technique to obtain continuous fringes on ScanSAR interferograms. Conventional ScanSAR ScanSAR Interferometry (SSI) processings are based on ordinary Stripmap interferometry processings; to generate SLCs, measure tie points, resample slave SLC, and make an interferogram. These are done for each subswath independently. The final step of SSI is to mosaic all the interferograms in the range direction. However, discontinuous fringes may appear on mosaiced interferograms, since different transforms are applied to each slave subswath at the resampling stage. Phase gaps between adjacent subswath interferograms reach 119.15 degrees at worst. To improve the phase gaps, we make a signle tramsform using all the tie points and apply it to all the slave SLCs. We obtained continuous fringes. The phase gaps are improved to 9.36 degrees at worst.
