Abstract :
This paper presents a novel multiple input single output ISAR (MISO-ISAR) imaging configuration for moving airborne target, which employs multiple transmitters and a single ground-based stationary receiver. By properly fusing the information provided by these transmitters from different view angles, both the range and cross range resolutions can be improved compared to bistatic ISAR (B-ISAR). Moreover, the proposed imaging configuration is especially suitable for the application of passive radar. Imaging algorithm is presented and performance analysis in term of resolution is conducted in the space spectral domain (SSD) and numerical results are shown to prove the effectiveness.
