  • Abstract
    As we approach the 50th anniversary of the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Industrial and Commercial Power Systems (I&CPS) Department (Figure 1) this year, I was asked as a past chair of the department to provide an article reflecting on the history and impact of I&CPS on the IAS and IEEE membership in general.
