Abstract
In this paper, a calibration method for the structured light system is presented. The key concept is to treat each of the projector´s line-of-sight as a spatially invariant vector, and to build two look-up-tables by employing two reference planes. With this concept, the coordinates of a 3D point can be determined without any knowledge of the projector´s parameters, thus avoiding the projector calibration. The calibration method is demonstrated to be low-cost, fast and robust.
