Abstract :
In December 2013, a group of IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) volunteers got together in Atlanta, Georgia, for a day-and-a-half-long strategic planning retreat led by Tomy Sebastian, IAS vice president and Long-Range Planning chair. The impetus for this was the need to establish the IAS´s strategic goals with an eye toward future growth and the continued support of our membership needs in a changing world.
