Abstract

The paper describes the solution for the management of functions of a mobile equipment for critical telemedicine in field, part of a critical telemedicine system with multimode communication, including satellite. The design of the system as well as the equipment design is based on an end-user oriented approach following the Systems Engineering (SE) procedures. The authors are reporting the original hardware and software solutions implemented in order to meet some critical end-user needs, identified in the SE process.
