Abstract :
Psychiatric field also covers aspects concerning diseases leading to suicide. This paper generally presents the main psychiatric causes for committing suicide and it focuses on writers who chose autolytic death. They anticipated their decision by rhetorical and stylistic devices used in their works. We comment upon some of them revealing the suicidal intention as a master thought for the artist and as a stylistic supremacy. The writers´ temper and psychological structure prone to suicide are mostly genetic. We found the needed information via multimedia, new media, social media and the classic form of books/essays. Media mobilize people in terms of knowledge and learning. It is a net of information, cognition-paths and intellectual experiences that helps people to enhance their cultural and knowledge background. Reinforced in the latest decades, media offer a comfortable settlement for researchers, students and lay readers who are interested in the relationship between creativity and psychopathology.
