Abstract :
Smart distribution grid on the system monitoring, interaction, security, power quality requires higher performance data acquisition, storage and utilization. This paper introduces the design of the data center at UOIT based on demands analysis, illustrates the stage objectives and gives the multi-data sources data center architecture and function structure. The introduction of real-time/historical database solves the problem of high intensive data acquisition, storage and quick retrieve. The proposed multi-data sources intensive data management mode can easily build power distribution and utilization infrastructure mass data warehouse with date from devices and heterogeneous data synchronized from existing systems, provide effective and efficient data supporting for advanced applications in control region and transfer real-time data to applications in management region.
