Abstract :
Extensive research has been taken on health care related monitoring in pervasive environments, but how to organize personal emergency response systematically under the respected context is still an uncovered area. A health care based pervasive emergency response system has an important role to maintain safe and convenient living for the aging society. In this paper, we analyze the mechanisms of multi-agent interactions in personal health care based emergency response systems. We propose an in-home pervasive interaction based intelligent virtual agent as the center of the multi-agent health care models. We propose several approaches to analyze the interactions based on sequential decision processes and game theory, which will be helpful for the design of the home health care emergency response interaction systems.
