Abstract :
This paper presents a novel theory called Blind Area to reduce the time cost to achieve synchronicity inspired by firefly, which is suitable for the classic M&S model [1]. The proposed Blind Area divides pulse-coupled oscillators into “chasing group” and “waiting group”. Furthermore, we propose a novel concept of Buffer Area in M&S model which nodes are seemed as firing nodes despite they do not reach exactly the phase threshold. As a result, other nodes could absorb more firing messages at the same time because the definition of firing is expanded.
