Abstract :
Under traditional way, collecting, acquiring and processing information of cotton pests and diseases are mainly completed manually, there for it lacks efficiency and counting and analysis are relatively difficult. According to the XPCC (Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps) cotton´s characteristic, this paper proposes a cotton pest and disease collection system based on mobile terminal, combined with cotton pests and diseases related database design. The system is easy to use, and bears the property of multi-point collection, real-time update of wide range of cotton pests and diseases data. Finally, a new technology consisting of the region-oriented cotton pest and disease data collection and processing, as well as active service model is proposed.
