Abstract :
Heshan Stream reservoir, as an important source of drinking water in Cengong County, Guizhou Province, Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation is applied on the assessment of its surface and ground water quality. As a result, the water quality of all the 5 surface water sections in the first and second-grade protection zones are conformed to Grade I surface water quality standards. Meanwhile, the water quality of one underground water point, at the edge of the second-grade protection zone, is conformed to Grade II underground water quality standards. In general, the water environment of this reservoir is good. However, although all the sections of surface water meet the Grade I water standards, the first-grade protection zone has a higher degree of membership, which means a better water quality.
