Abstract :
As a newly emerged commercial model, E-Business develops rapidly since 1990s. However, with the rapid development of these E-Business (Electronic Business) platform enterprises, competitions among them are increasingly intensified. Therefore, it is extremely important and urgent to make clear the competitive mechanism. The paper introduces the Lotka-Volterra (LV for short) interspecific competition model among biological species, builds LV competition models for single E-Business platform enterprises (newly founded enterprises or monopoly enterprises), double E-Business platform enterprises and multi E-Business platform enterprises, analyzes the competitive relation among E-Business platform enterprises based on two-sided market, explains the LV model based on the two-sided market from perspective of economics and gives corresponding policy suggestions for E-Business platform enterprises.
