Abstract :
In 2008, financial crisis caused a major blow on the banking sector worldwide. However, Chinese commercial banks might not be seriously impacted due to low internationalization. In this paper, we used EVA system to calculate and analyze China Construction Bank´s operating performance during 2008-2012. The research result showed that the bank´s EVA values still kept growing significantly after the crisis. The upward trend continued until 2012 when the macro economy came into transition.
