Abstract :
This paper presents the problem of measuring multitone parameters, including non harmonic sounds emitted by a particular harmonic percussion instruments belonging to the idiophones group. As examples may serve bowl sound used in the process of audio therapy. Additionally, the paper presents an original program written in MATLAB to measure important multitone parameters, such as frequency, power level and the decrease rate of the initial power level for the particular frequency components.
