Abstract :
This work is an effort to develop a simple transmission line model to obtain the input impedance of a Log Periodic microstrip-patch antenna array. A simplified theory is developed for analysis of such antennas without using complicated time-consuming and difficult numerical methods. The results from the proposed method are compared with those from electromagnetic simulations.
