Abstract :
This paper presents the relationship between Gaussian beam and reflector antennas and deals with the most important conical corrugated feed horn design parameters for reflector antennas. Furthermore, a compact, easily to manufacture and easily to frequency-scale conical corrugated horn with more than 40% relative bandwidth is proposed. The hybrid-mode (HE11) conical corrugated feed horn operating from 26.5 to 40GHz has been designed, fabricated and measured.
