Abstract
A novel 2.4 GHz coaxially-feed fully-loaded dielectric antenna has been proposed. It has a simple structure and demonstrates good electrical performances over the desired frequency. The bandwidth of the proposed antenna could be increased by properly adjusting the dimensions of the ground plane and the radiation patch. The measured results show that the proposed antenna offers a good performance at 2.4 GHz, defined by 10dB return loss, besides this, radiation patterns are also achieved in the desired frequency. The design has been simulated using PedaSoft EM-Core simulator. Measurements and simulation results are obtained for S-parameters as well as radiation patterns, which agreed quite well.
