Abstract :
Compact, low profile, wideband horns operating in the VHF band represent a challenge constrained by performance versus mechanical dimension and weight, together with available manufacturing techniques. This paper presents the design of a very compact, dual polarized, wide bandwidth horn in VHF band suitable for antenna measurement applications. The initial study, manufacturing and final verification measurement before delivery are here described.
